Terms of Service

By accessing or using the SquatchRV platform — including our website, mobile experience, and related services — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, all platform rules, and any rental-specific rules displayed during the booking process. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use SquatchRV.

These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and Sons & Dad Services, LLC, doing business as SquatchRV ("SquatchRV," "we," "us," or "our").

These Terms apply to all users, including renters, hosts, visitors, and anyone else who interacts with the platform.

SquatchRV is an online camper and RV rental marketplace that connects renters with hosts who list campers, travel trailers, motorhomes, fifth wheels, pop-up campers, and related rental equipment.

SquatchRV provides the technology platform, payment processing, and messaging tools. We do not own or operate the vehicles listed on the platform unless specifically and explicitly stated.

SquatchRV acts as an intermediary marketplace. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, SquatchRV is not the owner, operator, or insurer of any listed vehicle.

Hosts are solely responsible for:

SquatchRV does not independently verify every listing detail. Renters should review all listing information carefully and ask questions before booking.

All users must create an account with accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

**Eligibility and Rental Age**

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts to create and use a SquatchRV account. This is an account requirement only. Rental eligibility depends on the individual camper listing: an owner may set a minimum renter age of 18, 21, 25, 30, 35, or 40, and applicable law or a binding insurance requirement may impose a higher minimum. Where a listing has no minimum renter age selected by its owner, the platform baseline of 18 is a floor — not a confirmation that renters aged 18 or older are eligible for that listing.

A host's age selection does not guarantee legal, insurance, licensing, or overall rental eligibility, and meeting an age minimum does not by itself establish eligibility to rent, drive, or tow a camper. If you will drive or tow a camper, you are responsible for holding a driver's license appropriate for the vehicle and the intended use, and for satisfying the insurance or coverage requirements that apply to your rental.

**Identity Verification and Rental Eligibility Are Separate**

Identity verification confirms who you are, using a government-issued identity document and a liveness check. It does not establish your driving privileges, your driver's license class, your driving record, your insurance coverage, or your eligibility to rent any particular camper.

SquatchRV may require any of the following before allowing bookings or listings:

Providing false or misleading information is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension.

All payments — including deposits, rental fees, cleaning fees, pet fees, and any other charges — must be made through SquatchRV's approved payment system.

Users may not:

Attempting to bypass the payment system is a serious violation of these Terms and will result in account suspension. SquatchRV charges a service fee to renters and a platform fee to hosts. All fees are disclosed before booking confirmation.

All booking-related communication must take place within the SquatchRV messaging system until a booking is confirmed.

Before booking confirmation, users may not share:

This policy protects both renters and hosts from fraud, scams, and off-platform transactions that remove safety protections. After a booking is confirmed, contact information may be shared freely through SquatchRV's messaging system.

Violations may result in message filtering, account warnings, or account suspension.

Each booking is subject to the cancellation policy displayed on the applicable camper listing and presented to the renter before checkout. Cancellation terms may vary by listing and may include Flexible, Standard, Strict, or other policies made available by SquatchRV. The cancellation policy accepted at the time of booking will govern the renter's cancellation rights and applicable refund amount, subject to any overriding legal requirements or circumstances described in SquatchRV's Cancellation Policy.

Host cancellations of confirmed bookings may result in fees, listing penalties, or account restrictions. Force majeure events (government-declared disasters, severe weather emergencies) are handled on a case-by-case basis at SquatchRV's discretion.

Refunds, where applicable, are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

SquatchRV does not currently provide insurance coverage or active protection-plan products for rentals conducted through the platform unless a specific protection product is expressly offered during the booking process. Renters and camper owners are responsible for confirming that appropriate insurance coverage applies to the rental before possession or use of the camper. Any future optional protection products will be separately disclosed with their applicable terms, limitations, exclusions, and provider information.

Hosts are required to maintain their own vehicle insurance. SquatchRV is not an insurance company. Nothing in these Terms creates an insurance policy or guarantee of coverage.

Renters must immediately report — and in no case later than 24 hours after discovery — any of the following:

To file a report: Contact SquatchRV at support@squatchrv.app with your booking ID, a description of the incident, and timestamped photos.

SquatchRV may collect, review, and share documentation including photos, messages, trip records, GPS data, and payment records to assist in claims processing. Failure to report incidents promptly may affect your ability to file a claim or may result in full liability for damages.

Campers and RVs listed on SquatchRV may not be used for any of the following:

Violations may result in forfeiture of the security deposit, additional damage charges, account suspension, and legal liability.

SquatchRV reserves the right to take enforcement action at its sole discretion, including:

Users who believe enforcement action was taken in error may contact support@squatchrv.app to request a review. SquatchRV's enforcement decisions are final within the scope of the platform.

SquatchRV is a technology marketplace. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SquatchRV is not responsible for:

Users acknowledge that camper and RV rentals involve inherent risk. By using SquatchRV, you agree to assume those risks and agree that your remedy for covered losses is governed by your own insurance or by any third-party protection product you have chosen, not by SquatchRV's liability.

In no event shall SquatchRV's total liability exceed the amount of platform fees collected from you in the transaction giving rise to the claim.

SquatchRV may update, modify, or replace these Terms of Service as the platform grows, laws change, or our services evolve. When changes are made, the updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date.

We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-platform notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect, where reasonably practicable.

Your continued use of SquatchRV after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of those updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the platform.
