User Verification

SquatchRV requires verification before users can complete risky actions such as booking a camper, listing a vehicle, receiving payouts, or driving and towing.

Why We Verify

Verification protects hosts, renters, and the platform by confirming the identity and eligibility of every user before they access high-trust actions. This reduces fraud, protects assets, and builds confidence across every booking.

Verification Levels

Level 1 — Basic Account Verification

Required for all users

Email address verified
Phone number verified
Profile created with full name
Platform Terms of Service accepted

Level 2 — Renter Verification

Required before booking a camper

Legal name confirmed
Date of birth provided
Valid home address on file
Payment method verified
Driver's license required when driving or towing is involved
Rental rules and policies accepted

Level 3 — Host Verification

Required before listing a camper

Legal name or registered business name confirmed
Email and phone number verified
Payout account connected (PayPal or equivalent)
Camper ownership or authorized management confirmed
Listing photos uploaded
Insurance and protection requirements accepted

Level 4 — Higher-Risk Rental Verification

Required when additional review applies

Motorhome rentals (Class A, B, or C)
Towable camper rentals with renter tow vehicle
High-value camper listings
Long-distance or multi-week rentals
Delivery-only rentals
First-time renter on the platform
Flagged or suspicious account activity

Verification Status Labels

Basic VerifiedEmail, phone, and profile confirmed.

Renter VerifiedCleared to book campers.

Host VerifiedCleared to list and receive payouts.

RestrictedUnder review — limited access.

SuspendedAccount suspended — no platform access.

Enforcement Rules

Users who are not properly verified cannot complete a booking.
Unverified hosts cannot receive payouts.
Users with Restricted status cannot initiate new bookings or listings.
Suspended accounts have no access to platform features.
SquatchRV reserves the right to request additional verification at any time.
